CCB Law Firm, L.L.C. was founded by Carlesia Carmena Bibbins. Carlesia was raised in Slaughter, Louisiana. She was drawn to the practice of law through her inquisitiveness and passion for helping others from her early involvement in the community through volunteerism and making an impact with those who are invisible in society.
This passion has fueled her to be a voice for the voiceless and helping others combat the vicissitudes of life. In fact, she sees herself as a resource placed on this earth to be of service to others. Carlesia is no stranger to exemplifying hard-work, dedication, determination, and commitment. Despite competing priorities, she completed the four-year part-time evening law program in three-years, graduating with honors, while working full-time and maintaining her responsibilities, amongst all, as a wife and as a parent! That same commitment is what she brings to the table through educating clients and seeing to each personal problem is crafted a personalized solution!
While in law school, Carlesia clerked for a private-practice law office which focused on family law; in addition to serving on the Diversity Committee and Journal of Gender, Race, and Poverty. Shortly, after graduating she was employed as a staff attorney at the 19th Judicial District Court, Criminal Division.
Carlesia received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and master’s degree in Public Administration from Southern University A & M College and her juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center graduating cum laude.
Carlesia believes in giving back, she volunteers by accepting indigent client cases through the Baton Rouge Bar Association Pro Bono Project; serves on the Pro Bono Committee and Board of Supervisors for the Capital Area Agency on Aging; and a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and Louisiana State Bar Association.
